Private commission to re-create a similar looking prop glove to that seen in the film NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. The prop was fabricated using the same gauge steel, copper and brass as the original and each finger joint was individually hard riveted into position before being attached to the leather glove.

The prop was made to fit an adult large size glove. The fingers are fully articulated and the blades were never sharpened.

Another commission to re-create a similar looking prop glove to that seen in the film NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. This prop was fabricated using the same gauge copper and brass as the original but this time each individual finger carried a different chef's knife. This was a promotional prop for a stills shoot advertising Gordon Ramsay's KITCHEN NIGHTMARES commissioned by Channel Four.

ALL HANDMADE produced dozens of lead free pewter casts in a variety of different designs for Doug Lefler's feature film 'THE LAST LEGION'.
In this image you can see the detailed casts used to decorate the sword belts, sword hilt and pommel castings and the practical aluminium axe and hammer casts.

Close-up image of the lead free pewter cast scabbard chape. The chape is a cap at the blind end of the scabbard used to correctly balance the weight of the sword and scabbard together, making withdrawal of the sword easier.

Due to the short production timescale, many of the props could not be sculpted, moulded and cast out. Instead the props were made as direct 'Hero' models and carved out of chemical modelling board. This sequence of images of a stylised Boar Standard shows the process from marking the carving out on the original solid block, carving the main details and the last paint & finish with the model mounted on an oak base. The final ageing/dirtying down process was completed on set.

Another example of carved chemical modelling board. This model was made from a lighter, less dense modelling board than the one used to carve the Boar. Due to the more complex shape, this Eagle Standard was carved in two seperate halves.

This sequence of images shows the basic carving as a complete model prop.
